Our Philosophy
We believe that the application process should be one of self-exploration. Through “education for empowerment”, we teach students to take education into their own hands and understand what that means in their lives. Additionally, with digitalization, the term of global citizenship has become more relevant. We assist students to develop strong competencies essential in the 21st century where a strong sense of self, integrity, and a high level of critical thinking are once again needed for students to play a successful role in society. We also challenge students to redefine success for themselves, with professional guidance, as they better understand their strengths and opportunity areas.
Our goal
Cogita offers high-end customized, one-on-one personalized counseling for students applying to U.S. high schools and colleges. Our counselors work closely with students and families to meet the needs of students who have various personality traits and long-term goals. Through a comprehensive assessment of students and in-depth analysis of family needs, we help each student in the application process to authentically articulate themselves and eventually find their Most Unexceptional fit schools. Majority of our students receive successful acceptances from their first choice and fit schools.
